I’m Lelis Vernon, a healthcare consultant, NICU parent advocate, and leader in patient-centered care and quality improvement. With nearly two decades of experience, I offer expert consulting grounded in lived experience, clinical insight, and data-driven strategy to help organizations bridge gaps in maternal and infant healthcare through advocacy, innovation, and strategic design.
In 2017, Lelis Vernon visited Singapore and spoke to us on the importance of patient and caregiver advocacy especially in areas such as the NICU, CICU and areas where patients and caregivers may be exposed to critical and complex care needs. Lelis spoke with passion and generously shared her knowledge and experience. She started the spark for us to start our patient and caregiver engagement effort.
